    Alone on the rock, the last mason,

    Until the work was done.

    Ailsa Craig is silent now
    Even the lighthouse is automatic.
    But, on a rink somewhere, an edge
    On a stone, one of Ronnie's strokes
    Slides across the ice, a memory.
